Tribal Organization
The Eastern Uruk-hai covers a large area of geography, the entire Eastern United States. Because of this the Uruk-hai divides up its organization into tribes. Each tribe governs a geographical area, and usually represents and entire realm of Belegarth or chapter of Dagorhir. Some groups cover multiple organizations depending on their location.
Leadership & Membership
Tribes consist of a leader and membership. The leader if they are full approved member of the Uruk-hai holds the rank of Chieftain, if they do not they hold the rank of WarHost. Members of a tribe are referred to as a Tribesman or a Tribeswomen, all tribesmen are approved by the leader of the tribe.
Totem:
Tribes choose a symbol to represent their tribe, often it has something to do with their name. These totems often strike fear in our enemies, and serve as a way to recognize where each unfamiliar new tribesmen is from. Tribesmen are encouraged to wear their tribes totem so at events members of the unit can recognize where they are from. All Uruk-hai should take pride in their local tribes totem as much as they do the ork skull totem of the Uruk-hai.
Levels of Tribes:
There are three levels of tribes in the Uruk-hai.
- Greater Tribe – Has a Full Chieftain & Ravagers.
- Wrangler Tribe – Has a WarHost that has achieved the rank of Ravager.
- Lesser Tribe – Has a WarHost that has achieved the rank of Grunt.
Their is a fourth level called an expansion tribe which is an unofficial tribe of the Uruk-hai. We sometimes recognize expansion tribes before they have official members to help the groups find like minded individuals who want to become Uruk-hai. More information about our tribal expansion program can be found here.
