At the Uruk-hai’s 2009 Oktoberfest campaign the Uruk-hai turned a new chapter in their history and structure. Making Grunt membership require unit approval at National events, Ravagers have a structured list of goals to complete, and unveiling the framework for the new rank: WarDar for Ravagers that wish to excel within the unit as a full member. The unit started undergoing several changes.

Weather took a turn for the worse at the event and numbers all around were low. It was reported the high for the whole event was 45 degrees. The regular Uruk-hai beat in was replaced with a closed Round Robin tournament won by Ravager Orso with 17 victories!

Set on fire with new goals the unit hosted 8 warriors in ravager armor: The still newly proclaimed Warlord Cairbre Madog, With Ravagers: Physic, Orso, Bull, Astar, & Dreggedon our body count was small, a word that should never be used to describe the Uruk-hai. We also saw Warleader Iorek of the Bloodfury tribe wear a back flag and assist in leading the army for the first time. Looking to old traditions for the last time the unit beat in Ravager Gambit who brought with him a small army of fighters to add a little old fashion tag along to our ranks. Together with a new grunt hopeful Kade from the Bloodfury, and a Rev from the Western Uruk-hai we took to the field. The Uruk-hai came across looking extremely professional, the new mantra: quality over quantity, was a commonly heard on the battlefield as Uruk-hai shield-bashe sent dozens of people flying to the ground and deadly spears ripped our enemies to pieces. The event had an air of strength and hope for the mighty Uruk-hai.
